Promote your blog using social networks and Bookmark

Sometimes you come up with a great history blog. You know it will take you a lot of traffic, but you have a problem. Nobody knows about your great blog. To get the most attention you need to spread the word about. This is where social networking / bookmark come handy.

What is a social network / bookmark?
It is a place where you can share your stories or bookmarks with others. You submit your blog story for the network, allowing other members to vote and comment. Popular stories that receive a certain number of votes are promoted to the first page. Most social networks are different. Some even allow you to export a large number of bookmarks directly from your browser.

Why social networks?

1) Social networks get a lot of traffic because of their nature. Users often come back to read the latest stories and share their own.

2) Readers are usually one click from your blog. A popular presentation can bring you thousands of visitors daily.

3) Most social networks are free and take a few seconds to register and submit your first entry.

4) You will be surprised when you see the amount of other sites that use the foods from different social networks. A good story can spread through the network as a cold sore.

5) If your story will not reach the first page, you can always make another. In most cases there is no limit on the amount of stories you can submit.

6) Most social networks are search engine friendly. Not only will your story picked up by major search engines at any time, in most cases you will also get a reciprocal link. Some social networks have very good Google Page Rank (PR)

Tips and tricks:

1) An interesting, eye-catching story is often a must. Your main objective is to be promoted on the front page by getting enough votes. You need to convince other readers to vote for your story. Strange stories, often shocking and controversial as well.

2) You can always ask your friends to join and vote for you to get more votes. Do not create fake accounts because you will simply get banned.

3) The more stories you the best. If you want a steady stream of traffic you will need a constant stream of requests.

4) Just enjoy your experience. I certainly find it more interesting compared to other methods of blog promotion, such as the development link.
There are many different social networks around. Simple Google search should do the trick.
